We would like to introduce our basysKom Toolbox to you. It is a state-of-the-art collection of best practices in agile management and software development and a valuable tool for every kickoff meeting. 

Come and visit us on the Embedded World 2020 and take your own copy of the printed card deck with you!

These cards are supposed to be used during a project kickoff in order to select best fitting good practices from the very start of your project, but also as a reminder during the course of a project implementation. Every card holds a QR code with additional information related to the specific tool, the tools’ applicability, known constraints and additional tips on how to implement it in a project setup.

Jeremias Bosch consults in his position as Technical Project Manager our customers in building embedded HMI applications, as well as the implementation of next generation cloud projects. He is responsible for the system/software-architecture and the development within customer projects as well as the agile project management. He has over 12 years of experience in developing HMIs and Web Applications. He has delivered multiple large and medium scale Qt Quick and cloud applications in industries such as automotive, aerospace and manufacturing engineering. He holds a diploma of computer science from the University of Applied Sciences in Isny. Is a certifed SCRUM Master and Product Owner as well as a certifed Qt Developer.

Use Compute Shader in Qt Quick
With this blog post, we introduce the QtQuickComputeItem – a Qt Quick item that allows you to easily integrate compute shader into your Qt Quick Code. Compute Shader are used to perform arbitrary computations on the GPU. For example, the screenshot below shows a Qt Quick application that generates Gray Scott Reaction Diffusion patterns.  The simulation is executed by a compute shader that is configured directly in QML.
